Guild Meetings
The guild meets the first Saturday of each month at 9:30 am at Dauset Trails Nature Center located near Jackson, Georgia.
Last Meeting:
Saturday, December 6th, 2025 - 10:00 AM at Dauset Trails Nature Center
This was a business meeting, scholarships were awarded and 2026 officers were elected.
All of that was followed up by a fantastic pot luck luncheon with broasted chicken provided by the club.

Meeting Information
Wondering what happens at a meeting?
- Business Meeting - The guild follows Robert's Rules of Conduct for the business portion of the meeting
- Forge Time - There is either a demonstration at the forge and/or open forge time with many experienced blacksmiths around to offer advice.
- Iron in the Hat - This is a drawing/raffle event held at all of our meetings. Members bring various Blacksmithing related items to donate to Iron in the Hat. Members then have a chance to win the items by purchasing tickets and putting as many tickets as they wish into the cups that correspond with the items they would like to win. Iron in the Hat items include scrap metals, tools, blade blanks, handle scales, finished Blacksmithing items, etc...
- Lunch - Lunch is usually provided for members in good standing with the guild.
